I love to write about films, Linux, solutions to complex computer problems. I sometimes even get around to writing articles about Christianity and web development. For all of these regular topics I’ve got specific tags and categories, but the pages below simply don’t fit into any of my normal categories (not yet anyway!)

TBBT Flash Mob & Les Miserables Vid

by Paul Joyce

On this day, the 16th of November 2012, is the sun shining? Are the birds tweeting and the children playing in the streets? Unlikely, its cold and dull outside! Alas though the weekend is nearly here and I’ve put together a few more videos and pictures to cheer away those last few working hours of the […]

FWD: Movie Medley, Puppies & WWZ Trailer

by Paul Joyce

As quite a few people seemed to like last weeks Friday Wind Down post, which had babies fighting dragons and Disney Vader, here’s another selection to beckon in the weekend with. Today we have more good movies than you’ll probably watch in your life, this little puppy melting hearts around the world (awwww) and something […]

FWD: Babies & Disney Vader

by Paul Joyce

In what turns out to be quite a spontaneous and random blog post for the day, I thought I’d post a few light hearted things I found on the web pipes today: In what I’ve decided to dub… Friday Wind Down! First off, from a very brilliant and patient mind, one of my favourite animators and […]

The Alphabet of Alternative Musical Artists

by Paul Joyce

A little while a go I posted an alphabet of great films, so I thought I would continue the theme but this time aim it at musical artists. However, I think mainstream artists would just swamp the A-Z chart because their names have been engraved into our minds over the years, so this chart will […]

The Alphabet of Minecraft things!

by Paul Joyce

Another alphabet of stuff! This time my latest fixation, Minecraft! A – Axe, easily made of wood yet still damages stone! B – Beef, a tasty snack after you’ve hurt yourself, C – Creepers! Bringers of explosive death, D – Dawn, the beginning of 10 minutes of safety, E – Enderdragon, the doorway to manhood, […]

Saturday – The Waterfall of Decisions

by Paul Joyce

So today started like every other for me; waking up looking out at the Islands off the coast of Bora Bora. Beautiful clear seas and lush green vegetation rising up from the beaches to the very peak of the low lining mountains. True Story. Unfortunately I then turned away from the canvas hanging above my […]

New Business Cards for Moi?

by Paul Joyce

I decided it was time to finally get some newer and funkier business cards. Those generic ones that all look the same from those online printers just wouldn’t cut it. So tonight I’ve rustled up these 3 quite different designs, ranging from quite contemporary to a rather sci-fi looking one. Click the thumbnails below to […]

My anticipated films of 2012: February

by Paul Joyce

After the broad spectrum of action and character-focused films of January, did the directors dry up from all the post-Christmas booze? Doesn’t look like it! However February does seem a VERY odd mix of films, but at least there should be something for everyone. Rampart Woody Harrelson, a corrupt veteran cop, is on a downwards […]

My anticipated films of 2012: January

by Paul Joyce

So 2012 is finally here! Now the party poppers and streamers have been cleared away, the bottles recycled and the soggy-not-eaten party food binned… lets look ahead to what this year has to offer for us film fans. Starting with January, we have 3 or 4 big blockbuster films coming out in my eyes. Iron […]

Attractions of 2011

by Paul Joyce

So the first year is behind us! Its not technically a year old, but it was 2011 when my random comments became immortalised in an online blog. Looking back at a variety of tags used in posts, it shows the broad spectrum of rubbish I write. From Cillian Murphy and Christian Bale, to rants and reviews, […]
