The Walking Dead Articles
The Walking Dead was a brilliant show that literally infected the world. Guys and woman loved it equally. It portrayed and followed the lives of survivals of a zombie apocolpyse; losing loved ones and building new bonds on a daily basis. Here is my write up of the first series of The Walking Dead, but warning it DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS.
The Walking Dead: TS-19 (#1.6)
Great season finale to The Walking Dead. The survivors realise that the mauling hoards of undead are no longer their only source of danger. Hope can be taken as quickly as it was given
The Walking Dead: Wildfire (#1.5)
Wildfire, a brilliant penultimate episode to The Walking Dead. The survivors leave camp to find the CCC but we also find that someone was actually bitten (I had a feeling someone would have). With some people still fired up from the night fighting, Jim’s life is already in the balance without even considering the infection killing him.
The Walking Dead: Vatos (#1.4)
Best action and suspense filled episode yet from The Walking Dead. Rick and the team in Atlanta follow the blood trail of Merle in an attempt to find him before he dies of blood loss. We see that Merle’s as tough as he appears, cauterising his own arm stump to stop the majority of the bleeding.
The Walking Dead: Tell it to the Frogs (#1.3)
Disappointed, not the usual pace of The Walking Dead. The mall survivors make it back to the forest camp, with Rick reunited with Lori and his son, Carl. It turns out it was Shane, Ricks police partner, who informed Ricks family of his ‘death’. Although it is unclear whether Shane knew the truth himself.
The Walking Dead: Guts (#1.2)
Lots of tension and some gorey scenes from The Walking Dead. This episode is called “Guts”, and halfway through it becomes bloody obvious (pun
) why it has that name. So we left the first episode with Rick seeming to be in a no win situation, stuck inside a tank surrounded by countless undead
The Walking Dead: Days Gone Bye (#1.1)
Great start to The Walking Dead series! The main protagonist Rick Grimes is working as the towns sheriff and is seriously injured during a exchange of gun fire with some criminals. He is wisked off to hospital and slips in-and-out of consciousness. When Rick finally becomes compos mentis, he awakens to a deserted hospital with loading docks full of the deceased.
